―HP Japan first to launch mobile PC product with "ConnectIN povo", featuring flexible "povo" toppings―

KDDI Corporation announced that starting July 31, 2025, it will offer "ConnectIN povo", expanding the "ConnectIN" service that was previously only available to corporate customers for personal use. "ConnectIN" embeds mobile communications into products and services including PCs and IoT devices, allowing users to work from anywhere. The first product to adopt "ConnectIN povo" is a mobile PC from HP Japan, available through HP Japan's official online store (in Japanese only)Open in a new window (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Nobuki Okado).
This mobile PC includes "HP eSIM Connect LITE by povo," a communications service tailored for HP Japan. It features a total of 300 GB of data, which is usable over 5 years via povo2.0 on au's 5G/4G LTE network. It also includes access to "Gigazo Wi-Fi," a secure public Wi-Fi service provided by Wire and Wireless Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Tomoki Mukoyoshi).
Users can start using the service by simply purchasing the PC and registering a povo2.0 account.

- Devices come preloaded with povo2.0 data, eliminating the need for tethering or reconnection, improving productivity.
- Users can access au's 5G/4G LTE network and automatically connect to secure Wi-Fi at major cafes and restaurants.
2. Add povo2.0 toppings as needed.
- Toppings can be customized to suit usage styles-e.g., unlimited data for 6 or 24 hours, or 3GB/30GB for 30 days.
- Toppings can be purchased via the "HP eSIM Connect LITE by povo" portal or the povo2.0 app. "povo Data Oasis," offering up to 1GB/month in specific locations, is also available.
