"Ponta Pass" starts from October 2nd, offering advantageous shopping at LAWSON

KDDI is revamping the paid subscription service "au Smart Pass," used by approximately 15 million people, as "Ponta Pass" from October 2, 2024.
In line with the renewal, the service content will be enhanced, including the addition of benefits such as the free/discount coupon "Weekly LAWSON" that can be used every week at LAWSON, saving a total of over 600 yen per month, and "Ponta Pass Boost," which increases the Ponta point redemption rate up to 4 times (2%) from the regular rate (0.5%) when making payments using au PAY at LAWSON. These additions make shopping at LAWSON even more advantageous. Along with the benefits currently offered as au Smart Pass, you can use benefits that amount to over 3,000 yen in savings every month.

On top of that, from October 2 to November 30, 2024, a campaign to commemorate the launch of Ponta Pass, "AGESUGI [1] Challenge Part 1," will be held. During the period, exclusive to Ponta Pass members, you can receive additional coupons each month for more than three sheets, including coupons for the popular KARAAGE-KUN Fried Chicken at LAWSON for free, in addition to the regular "Weekly LAWSON". Additionally, the point redemption rate when making payments using au PAY at LAWSON will be increased to a maximum of 10 times (5%) the regular rate.
Furthermore, we will also open a pop-up store for a limited time and launch collaborative products between LAWSON and Ponta Pass.

KDDI has been collaborating to expand and invigorate the Ponta Economic Zone and has been working towards strengthening the point membership base. Going forward, through "Ponta Pass," we will continue to offer benefits that make shopping at various places, including LAWSON, more advantageous, aiming to improve customer convenience.
