―Up to 4,500 yen worth of rewards every month for using eligible financial services―
KDDI CORPORATION
Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company
au Financial Service Corporation
au Payment Corporation
au Jibun Bank Corporation
KDDI and Okinawa Cellular announced the launch of new au smartphone price plans, "au Value Link Money Activities Plan 2" and "Unlimited Data MAX+ Money Activities Plan 2" (hereafter, "the plans"), offering unlimited data usage (
Note 1), from December 1, 2025.
The plans enhance au Jibun Bank benefits. For au PAY Gold Card members, up to 500 yen (equivalent to the tax-excluded amount) (
Note 2) [550 yen] will be credited monthly to their au Jibun Bank savings account, based on the account balance. Additionally, if au PAY Card or au Jibun Bank is used for telecom bill payment, up to 1,500 yen (equivalent to the tax-excluded amount) [1,650 yen] will be credited every month. Furthermore, the Ponta point redemption rate is also increased, and up to 2,500 points per month will be provided for shopping with au PAY Card or au PAY.
By combining these benefits, customers who subscribe to the plans and use eligible financial services can receive up to 4,500 yen (equivalent to the tax-excluded amount) [4,700 yen] in rewards every month. Notably, this marks the first time in the telecommunications industry (
Note 3) that cashback is provided as a benefit of a smartphone plan.

Since September 2023, based on the latest trends in the financial industry, KDDI and the au Financial Group have offered the "au Money Activities Plan," which supports customers' "Money Activities" (asset formation through savings and investments for the future, including money and points) by providing additional benefits for using financial services in combination with telecommunications.
As the financial environment continues to change, with the end of negative interest rates and policy rate hikes, customers' money management habits are also evolving, with increased savings and accelerated shift toward cashless payments. In response, the new plans strengthen banking integration, leveraging the strengths of the KDDI Group.
Please note that new applications for the "au Value Link Money Activities Plan" and "au Money Activities Plan +" will no longer be accepted after November 30, 2025, with the launch of the plans. Customers currently subscribed to these plans need to complete the plan change procedure to switch to the new plans.
